The Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum is located on historic Ford Island, where the first bombs, on December 7, 1941, fell during the attack on Pearl Harbor. Constructors Hawaii Inc. worked with MASON to renovate one of three main sections of the Ford Island Control Tower Project, the Emil Buehler Perpetual Trust Library and Archive (Phase 3A) in the Operations Building. The Emil Buehler Trust was established in 1984 to perpetuate the memory of Emil Buehler and his commitment to aviation science and technology.

This new library will allow access to researchers and the public to a large collection of books, memorabilia, and photographs dedicated to aviation and the history of Pearl Harbor and the Hawaiian Islands.
